Just being one of the founding members of Korn isn’t enough to “save” this CD. Although the music for “Save Me From Myself” is very Korn-esque which most people would expect, Head’s debut CD doesn’t have much else going for it.

Head may want to stick to simply playing the guitar as the majority of the vocals on this CD are hidden by growls or just muffled lyrics. For those who can sit down and listen to this entire CD you may be impressed by the lyrics, which vividly describe Head’s career with Korn and the reasons why he felt he had to leave the band.

Despite telling some interesting stories, his songs sound as if he is preaching rather than pouring his heart out. Creatively and emotionally they just feel as if they lack something, this doesn’t give “Save Me From Myself” very much replay value. If you listen to the CD once you might just toss it in the pile with the rest of them.

Tracks to check out on this CD are “Flush”, “Loyalty”, “Adonai” and “Money”.
