Release Notes:

Contemplate yourself as a True US Metal worshipper, you must have
heard in every way of Ohio based Dragonwyck. These from four
members existing outfit delivers an oustanding form of fist
pounding, hard hitting Power Metal since the early 90's. First
strike was a demo release in'94, followed by "The Gathering" which
was an EP brought out by Fortunate / Hellion Records in 1996.
First, full length saw daylight two years later on and was
entitled "Whisper In Darkness" a twelve song album delivered once
again by Fortunate / Hellion Records! Especially, their full
length punched me in the head, litterally and figurative. During a
first familiarisation with these output, i was immediately taken
by surprise. I was submerged by pure strength, force,
energy...Dragonwyck was a band which could captivate me more than
considerably. Next effort was "Neurotica", an independent 4 song
EP unleased in 2007.

Consisting of four musicians, Dragonwyck's singer sounds AWESOME!
He radiates warmth, plenty of power...he's the owner of some
special techniques keeping the colour of its throat sounding very
unique. Mostly with low tones singing, Kenny Reiman is one of a
kind in the world of nowadays US Metal movements! I'll do not even
try to compare with other ones because he's too original to do
that! Pay also attention for the very hard kicking drums of
Michael, devastating bass works of Nick and last but surely not
least all the magnificent, being scorched, blistering axe grinding
movements of six string grandmaster Tony. This guys' solo's and
thundering riffs are great! All the promising words about
Dragonwyck so far date of for the expenditure of their brand new
output entitled "Born Into Madness", released independently early
2008.

Ten songs loaded, this new album is a blistering one for all those
into US Power Metal. One of their previous efforts "Whisper In
Darkness" meant a lot for me so do better was a difficult task. My
opinion between that one and Dragonwyck's new album, i'd like to
share the following words with all of you...They're still
omnipotent good which means the powerplay duties of drums and bass
musicians are present, also guitarist Tony's job as guitar player
has again very succeeded. The man with the 'one of kind'
voice...well, my admiraion for its way of singing still grows on
and on. Lower toned with dark co-ordinated passages, i'm in!

In contrast to "Whisper In Darkness", the new one's running time
is not that long but does not disturb me at all. "Born Into
Madness" has been charged with beautiful, joyful elements (power,
power and more power!), it returns me to think of the glorious,
early days of Pantera ("Cowboys From Hell" / "Power Metal" era)
and Megadeth ("Peace Sells..."). Songs as 'Bag Of Bones' and
'Things Remembered' are US Power Metal ones seizing me by the
throat right away. Also prepared for 'Bruised', Neurotica' and
'Spitting Nails'. Do not approach me afterwards that you were not
warned!

Be sure i am satisfied with Dragonwyck's new effort!! Perhaps,
this album could have lasted a bit longer but forget about
that..."Born Into Madness" is a great US Power Metal disc those
shine on a lot of points (outstanding production / brilliant
artwork). I'm pleased all over...make up your own mind after you
have bought it of course. Order this must-have Metal disc via:
