Notorious British extreme metallers Cradle Of Filth have posted the following short update:
"The world tour for the "Thornography" album, which last saw COF in Russia, Ukraine, U.K., Romania, Slovakia and the USA with Gwar is now complete. The band has now returned home to start writing for a new record over the dark months in the rehearsal room. The new album, which is not yet titled, will be released some time in 2008 via RoadRuner Records. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on our website."

''In recent interviews, Paul Allender said the new stuff sounds nothing like Thornography but more like old CoF. The new songs will be much more faster (maybe even among the fastest stuff they ever done with lots of blastbeats) and it will be very keyboard oriented. He also said that while he cannot really compare it to older album, Dusk...And Her Embrace would be the closest comparison.''
