Boas noticias para os fãs de Moonspell

Moonspell will enter studio first weeks of July in order to record a very special project. The recording sessions will be held at the Denmark's finest Antfarm Studios. Behind the wheel of death will be Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Dark Tranquillity, Rob Halford), co-producing with the band.
This release will consist of re-recordings of the band's legendary Under the Moonspell (1994) but also going back as far as their first demo Anno Satanae and their sole track as Morbid God, Serpent Angel.
All the songs will be re-arranged and revamped in order to underline their revered distinction as Underground classics but now with a mature dark energy and class. The full-length record (8 songs and around 5 instrumental compositions) will be released in early October (2007) via SPV worldwide.

A Best of Moonspell entitled The Great Silver Eye, released through Century Media, will be hitting the stores in July.

Às vezes pergunto-me como é que estes leaks saem assim sem mais nem menos... Mas enfim, melhor para nós.

Por acaso gostei daquilo que ouvi no myspace, apesar de já conhecer algumas coisas mais velhas deles... Acho que está mais light.

Saem sem mais nem menos pq as editoras normalmente enviam para a imprensa alguns Promo CD. Acontece que há sempre alguem que acaba por colocar online esses Promo CD.

Eu não diria que esteja mais light, diria antes que perdeu aquela mistica que acabou por caracterizar o Under The Moonspell, Ano Satanae e até mesmo o tema Serpent Angel, ainda gravado sob o nome de Morbid God. No entanto acho que era mesmo esse o intuito da banda ao regravar estes temas, torná-los mais "actuais" acabou por ser algo premeditado. No meu caso, fã incondicional do Under The Moonspell, acho que este lançamento nunca irá substituir aquele CD que ostento na minha colecção de CDs, no entanto será sem duvida uma boa oportunidade para aqueles que nunca tiveram oportunidade de ouvir aquele que foi o grande passo para os "nossos" Moonspell.
